On the 19th of December 2014, after a positive test run of MIOS installation, the last protocol was signed and the first stage of the “MIOS repowering – built over of the level 4th of the scrubber spraying no 2 in EC Siekierki Warsaw” project is finished. Completion of the second stage is planned for the end of 2015.
On 15th of December the Commissioning of SST-300 turbine and generator unit in PGE GIEK S.A. – ODDZIAŁ ELEKTROCIEPŁOWNIA ZGIERZ ended with success. Officially the project is planned to be operational on 19th of December.
We would like to inform that the first general phase of the contract ,,Reducing Emissions of NOx below 200 mg/Nm3 at units 1, 2 and 4 non-catalytic methods in PGE GiEK SA. Department of Opole Power Plant” signed at 1st February 2013 between PGE GiEK SA. Department of Opole Power Plant and the consortium of companies SBB ENERGY S.A formely Remak-Rozruch S.A. and RRTec sp.z.o.o(formerly Nalco Mobotec Polska sp. z o.o) was successful ended on 5th of November.
Phase I of the contract included the modernization of unit No. 4: building the installation to reduce NOx by primary methods RROFA, installation to reduction NOx by secondary methods RRMIX SNCR and building fir unloading and storage of urea solution on boiler No. 1
Phase II includes the installation of RROFA and RRMIX SNCR on boiler No. 1
Phase III includes the installation of RROFA and RRMIX SNCR on boiler No. 2
The date of completion of the investment is planned on 2nd half of the year 2016. After official finish of the project, all units in Opole Power plant will meet the requirements of the new Directive IED on industrial emissions.
